Flats are an essential piece to keeping Dubia Roaches. Whether you are starting a new colony or keeping the dubia roaches that you purchase for feeders, you'll need a place to house them until it's chow time. Typically, you want to stack these vertically within a tote or enclosure. The flats should lean side-by-side, leaving a small gap for the dubias to find the right pocket. Within the tote, you can leave food for the roaches to eat. Just make sure you clean out any food that isn't eaten! Keep the dubia roaches in a dark, warm environment and be sure that the roaches have air to breath. Dubia Roaches are very versatile creatures, they can live a long time with the bare minimum if you are keeping them as feeders.
